Main thing in GD(Group Discussion) is contribution of your thoughts about the topic that given to you. Aim of GD is to speak in right way but not in fight way. Consonance and flexibility in group is also very important. Now i'm going to give you some tips about GD:

1. Dress formally and reach on time- You need to look well groomed, impressive and confident because this is not a casual discussion. This will help you to get a job in a company.

2. If you are having some doubts or want to clarifications on the topic of the discussion, make sure to ask and clear them out before the GD begins and not after that.

3. Always carry a pen and a notebook with you. This allows you to refer to what others have said previously.

4. Be yourself and do not be conceited- Do not get aggressive and be careful while using gestures because body language is important.

5. Start the discussion by you, is a plus point for you but do so only if you know a lot about the topic.

6. Maintain eye contact with team members and not with evaluators because they are not the participator of your discussion. If the other members hear you, the evaluators will too.

7. Having said that, ensure that you listen as well and appreciate what others are saying. If you do not agree with someone's point, let them complete and then raise your objection. Do not interrupt.

8. Be positive and do not be over confident and under confident too. Do not play with fingers in whole discussion this shows that you are nervous.

9. Try to remove the contradictions and arguments. Providing a meaningful direction to the discussion always leaves a good impression on the evaluators.

10. Understand that the aim is not to speak continuous or for long times. The aim is to be precise and clear with your points. At last you have to conclude the topic.
