           India's first Cheap and Superfine Tablet is Launched on Sunday November 11 2012, President Parnab Mukharji Launch Aakash-2 tablet in Vigyan Bhawan on the occasion of 124'th Birth anniversary of India's first Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam. Price of this version is 1132 rs with subsidy for students, Without subsidy its price is 2999 rs in market.

   During Launching, through a Video Conferencing  a training is given to 15 Thousand teacher of 250 colleges, the training is about how to operate this. At the end of the year 1 lakh Tablet  will shear and in new version android-4 is inbuilt. Demonstration of Aakash-2 in The United Nations on November 28.

Screen-7 inch touch sensitive screen.
Downloading- It is able to download video from YouTube and Android Application.

Connectivity- Wi-fi, GPRS system, Optional-3g.
Ports- 2 USB.

    This Tablet can control Robots. This Tablet also working on Linux Operating System, this will also be used to make base card.
